#2: HYD is super less long winded as compared to MG.

Hahas Hana Yori Dango totally affected me after i started watching it ><

watching this drama simply reconfirm my perspective of the Japanese culture.

They are polite in everything they do (even when they are scolding a person!)

I love their language.. hahas. every word is filled with exaggerated expression!

such a carefree life. I believe that the Japanese are people who are very good at expressing themselves, and have less trouble showing their true feelings.

if i have a chance, i would want to experience living in Japan, and blending in with their culture.

Gaah! love it there =D

anyways... i've been studying history... i hope i wont have any exam frights on that day>< (which happens all the time!.)

whahas. first day of prelims today. english.

paper one was fairly managable... BUT PAPER TWO WAS A MASSACRE!

i cant even come up with more than 10 points for my summary... so i had to relook for points... i ended up highlighting almost the whole passage LOLS.

anws, after school, jac, jess, jas,jr (Jx4) and i exited the school. jr went home, i went to kfc to meet py,nis,hy and Jx3 went to makan at koba.

elvina joined us at kfc after awhile.

as usual, brunch was a talkative session. we joked and talked over the table about almost anything that pops into our head.

hahas i told them about an incident where a blangadesh and a china man quarelling. The troubles of communication hahas.

later on, hy and py went back to school, i dint know where elvina go to after that, nis and i went to popular.( wo men shi popular de tou hao fans!) hahas jk.

nis had to buy foolscap while i go get my orange highlighter. btw, we met Jx3 there.

then nis and i read about the all broken english in the world. DAMN FUNNY! one goes like.... "AUTHORISED PERSONNEL ONLY.Any unauthorised personnel who enters will be executed."
not exactly, but the meaning is somewhere there.
and that 炸地署(fried sweet potato)became bomb the sweet potato LOLS.

after that we went home . nis,jas, and i took 5 changed to 55 with jas.

Everyone holds a place in the world.. dont you think so?
isnt it a little weird to gauge how important you are in the world,when you will often be the last one to know how important you are to others?

To self proclaim your lack-of-importance,IMO, is such a selfish thing to do...not only will you hurt those who care for you, you will be of an utter dissapointment as it only proves that you have never taken anything that the people who cares for u does into account.

This i feel is something to be shared..as no one should feel this way.

Anyways...unhappy things aside, its like september "holidays" next week, and it will be prelims after that..

secured a place in TP's IMI from DPA, im not slacking now...but i know i am still not putting enough effort.

completed DNT coursework, now im at theory. i hope that i have an A1 for this subject.(indeed a relief)

Feel that i've improved in my MT, but it is still a fact that i sucks at my so called "difficult words and their meanings". (sorry arh ppl who sits ard me, i keep bugging u guys for explaination.Please dont get angry >.<")

Took 38 to bedok interchange with HY after she finish tuitioning some demoralized+ not motivated + not committed guy . hahas

Zhao Jia And Zi Yi was super funny larr! Its been awhile since i had laugh out loud.

anyways. this is what i had experience in bus 16 today.

First impression: wow, its been a long time since i sat in this comfortable type of bus with super cold air-con.

Then, i started seeing the beauty of the Night in Singapore. its really great! hahas

Later on, the bus came to a stop at Siglap.. Paused for awhile before the bus driver said that the ez-link tap machine wasnt working, and that we are able to get a refund between the next five days if we stop by any ticketing booth in chinese. This did not affect me as i am using my one-month bus concession. But the thing to be happy about is seeing the chinese explaining whatever the bus driver had said to the non-chinese.

Then, one big bunch(about 10-12people) of people,(who i suspect, are from Vietnam) came in and kick a big fuss about having a free ride(i knew because they were "screaming" "Free! Free!" to one another. Even if they are tourists, cant they respect the other passengers in the bus??? They were making sooo much noise that practically everyone in the bus heard them.(they were right in front of me, squeezing onto a couple seat... yes..almost all of them with 1 taking pictures of them. Luckily, they alighted at the next stop, cause i was about to blow my top)

Next, the bus driver came to a halt again... at Marine Vista. he asked the passengers siting behind him if he was suppose to turn here. Only then did i know that this driver was new. Im glad to see that those people helped him out without feeling frustrated or discontented.

On one bus ride, so many things happened. But what's worth being happy about is the heartwarming scenes of Singaporeans helping out one another/ others. i really hope that the entire world will be like this. Only then, will we attain true peace.

i remember yesterday was like a movie marathon... it all started with some unknown movie... then it went to Veronica Mars... then paycheck.. and then The Queen.

The Queen brought back lots of memories of my mum... so i ended up crying after watching the movie lols. hmm then came all the messy thoughts... cant really remember what i thought of... but whatever it is, it kept me crying LOL.

oh wells... i guess the impact of my mum's death is jus getting greater and greater.... I don't rmber crying at her wake at all ... it doesnt mean i dun love her.. it's jus that, i still felt that she was still with me.... Till one day i dreamt of her saying goodbye to me.... then i know that my mum have left me for good.. guess all the after effects are taking place now huh....

Sad things aside.... i really have to polish up my Amaths... and i really need good advice on my decision to drop dnt.... hope i will get a proper and sensical answer on this soon

HAPPY LUNAR NEW YEAR EVERYONE!

hahas went to watch CJ7 yesterday midnight with my bro cousins n uncle.
Din expect anything much from stephen chow's movie.. but hey !! This production is quite different from his other productions.. This show really make u laugh hard and cry hard. Its a really great show. i recomend it GO WATCH!

next movie that im looking forward to is Dr.Seuss. Houston hears a who -> something like dat one. its a very funny movie bahs

Pretty busy weekends i guess.

Last Saturday was my school's 42th annual cross country. Distance 4.2km -guys and 3.3km-girls.

Aft the X-country, went to fix my hair till 5+ den took 15 home with ahni. "took 5hours to rebond+cut my hair".

This Sunday was pretty meaningful . I voluteered to help out in the food samaritan project along with Yings ,Pee Wee, Teng and Mr. Orh "Firdaus Iskandar" under the SECDC. There were some victorians too. The South East CDC, NTUC Fairprice and Hwa Chong Institution got together to help low-income families and single elderly persons cope with rising costs.
GOT 3 SECONDS OF FAME in every news that showed the clip on TV lols. xD

Its good to see all the elderly's happy faces.. Although its jus some ordinary rations that we could get easily in any supermarket, they are really appreciative for what they receive as it really helped them out with lessening their expenditure cost tho its jus for a short period of time.

It really pain me to see the elderly living alone.. Despite their age, they still have to depend on themselves.. One of theb elderly i've seen was already on a wheelchair. His house was pretty messy. Due to his immobility i suppose, he wasnt able to pack the house.. I had to leave t he food and non-food packages beside his bed above of some other things..

Another one had his house covered with dark red clothe.. making it almost impossible to see.. i really wonder why anyone should live in such a condition.. It was a total darkness from the way i see it from the outside..

There was one lady whose husband is suffering from stroke. He was bedridden.. The lady was so grateful for the food and non-food packages.. and her husband kept thanking us.

Fortunately there are volunteers who are willing to visit these elderlys to clear up the place, take care of them once in awhile..

This really tells me that small little things are a great deal to some people in the world.. I really encourage all of us to take a step forward in caring for the needys. Even if it means a single cent , it makes a difference.

The whole program started from 9.30-4pm+

aft that, Ying's sister gave me, pee wee and teng hui a lift to toa payoh.
from there me and pee wee headed to amk.
And i went to meet up with my aunt in a taxi stand located outside amk hub.
THANK YOU SO MUCH AUNTY SUE FOR HELPING MY FAMILY UNCONDITIONALLY FOR SO MANY YEARS and apart from that, showering your love on us , especially on me.

Gna go haircutting/re-rebonding this sat [^.^] after skl's annual cross-country. LOLS im gonna stink at the hairdressers place ><

hmms... basically today is yet another dble maths day... so i started the day with..HBK(emaths teacher..HBK is not heartbreakkid...its his name..-.-) coming into the class, continueing with vectors... lets say i finally understand what he is trying to say.... but im still confuse -.- -CONTRADICTION- oks nvm. den the day went on with Amaths. Mr Barry Lim continued with trigo graph.. not too bad. quite simple still. i wonder if im able to cope with further trigo....lols..

as usual... mt is the 3rd lesson of the day.... ( i kept thinking that its recess since everyone was packing up and taking their bags with them cus aft recess its dnt.) lols so i will take my own sweet time to pack up ....till i ask. "OH SHIT. WAD PERIOD ISIT NOW?!"
hmm so like.. aft mt is reccess.. aft reccess is dnt. 2hrs of dnt.. went on to "further" analysis. and so on and so forth.. MR Chan had to leave early so we had 1/2 a period to ourself.(1 period =1hr)
those peeeeps who drop dnt started coming in one by one. lols.

I end the day with FORM TEACHER PERIOD. did some emotion stuff. lols. and drew a cute smiley face girl lols.

Hmm.. seem to me that sec 4 life is ... serious work. I cant seem to look far in the future for now.. everyday is pretty much packed with things to do... still have time for my own programmes in January but i doubt that i will haf those time after CNY

hahas today is my 16th birthday! yeaps!!! started the day with smses which woke me up frm my sleep... and one of them is from my SUPER-FUNNY- daddy. he sms me happy birthday even tho he is at home LOLS!!! xD

den woke up at 5.25am...as usual.... super sleepy..so i went to the sofa to take another 5 mins nap.( hahas such a pig ><") kk... dat isnt the point... hmms. went to wash up, get dressed and im out. missed the first bus... so had to wait for the second.. anws im still early for skl hahas ..

Heard that the train broke down.. and the late comers were excused! hahas lucky them. well sort of~~ wahahas my cliques sang bdae song to me in class .. ok that was an awkward sight lar!! jus sat there covering my ears , preventing myself from blushing hahahas xDXD . school was over, English remedial was cancelled.. so i did my History assignment... at 3.30 history remedial started.. I "PHAIL" one of my SEQ homework cause i did not explain the given factor . hahas wasted

Then me, JR, Elvina and ~~Mimi~~ Hweeying went to "dessert mouse" to eat hahas okk erm ...ate meesiam~ 1 piece of yam cake. and a bowl of "ice kachang with ice cream and chocolate pokey" was shared among us xD . hahas WAS SO BLOATED!!! hahas aft that, we went to popular bookshop to browse thru the books in there...cus we had to wait for the something that py nis jess jac nic wanted to settle.

First week of school had broken many records ...

1st record.
The number of times we changed the timetable in a week. * CHANGED 3 TIMES *

2nd record.
Due to the changes, I HAVE CHEM LESSONS FOR 3 CONSECUTIVE DAYS. *sheesh*

3rd record.
My classroom is on the 4th level. Highest level of the school.

4th record.
Because of the location of my classroom, I have to bring jacket EVERYDAY.

5th record.
My Class Pissed the Physics teacher in the 2nd Physic lesson.

yeaaps... all these happened in a week..inclusive of tmr, 090108. lols..

oks.. all of us are pretty exhausted now.. even though its jus the first week of school.. Homework had practically covered most of our time...*assuming u have 7hrs of sleep everyday and u have to wake up at 5.15am and u will only end school at 2.15 excluding remedials...which is like.. everyday for the graduating classes???* sheesh... it really makes me wonder if 24 hrs a day is truly enough...

i cant wait to graduate .... and i want to obtain beautiful results for my o lvls.. T.T im trullyyyy stressed. ahahas..

This is the most wonderful way to end this program..
The one thing that i would remember forever is our valuable friendship.( I CAN'T believe that this program is gonna end tomorrow!! T.T omg.... )

To Si Min: My Good human resource assistant! Thanks for helping out in calling everyone whenever i need to hold a meeting during my post as a GM. Its nice working with you which were always there whenever things need to be done. And thank you for the banner. Sorry for the remarks that Yvfynn mention, I think its not on purpose and its partially my fault when I do the photoshop editing and putting up the logo etc. We all still learning so lets all continue learning yea?

To Gorden: ITE its not the end, Its To Enjoy! No matter where you are studying, if you give in your best, you will be at your best. Dun worry if you got anything that you need help abt IT, you can ask me as I learn about the same things as you. From nitec to poly its a hard way up. To Gorden: Thanks for coming down to help us in almost every single meeting, giving us comments to allow us to perform better in both our proposal and presentation. I appreciate the time rafie and you sacrificed to help us (: Last but not least, you and your lame jokes (farmer C sells what), makes me faints...And you all have great interpersonal skills, i mean you all are able to mingle with us quite easily .

To Giving Carolz: To everyone of you, I saw your commitment to the team. Thank you. There is bound to be quarrels and misunderstandings along the way, but that makes us a better team right? Lastly, I'm proud to say: I belong to Giving Carolz (: All of us has come so far, we have 'take away' many invaluable lessons and of course friendships. Nothing beats the fact that you are really Daphne. And sorry for causing inconvenience while at your house. Your dog ah.. sry la. and also sorry if i haven't been really working at my best. Waseh.. today ...... lols GEL FLEW, TOILET PAPER FLEW, EGG FLEW~! wow. lols.XD
hahas today is basically the production day.... We ate breakfast, i did lots of Fetching...yeaps.. sry bala for giving u wrong info...>< (sobs...yet another wrong info)..
At first, we had trouble putting gel into the testtube.. then WE HAVE OUR GENIUS . NURUL . who suggested the chili bottle thingy to squeeze out the gel into the 8mm(diameter) testtube.. wahahas.. n Yet again... we have accounted another problem.... STUPID! NO AIR CAN ESCAPE OUT THE TESTTUBE( because the chili bottle tip is slightly too big..) ThEN! i used a cardboard to extend the tip and at the same time make it smaller...HOWEVER. the cardboard started to get soggy.. and then someone else shouted "Straw" ahas. We ended up using the straw as the extensions XD.

We filled 100 test tube with gel at the end of the day....(sry arh... slpy ler...so...i..lazy... to .... go on......with the details...*cough*<-real cough-.-')

MY First Break, a programme organised by the South East CDC and funded by businessmen aims to provide opportunities to broaden students' horizons by bringing them out of Singapore to feel and understand the impact of globalisation and its effects on Singapore and them, develop entrepreneurial spirit in our students by giving them the opportunity to plan and run their own business, promote strong bonds among the overseas and local students and to encourage students to contribute back to the community.

what can i say?? I'm really inspired by all the talks done by the "big shots".This program really broadens my knowledge about the business world and I'm really grateful that i have a chance to be part of this wonderful family =). Basically, this whole program (including the pre-trip,the trip, and the post-trip) is about Self-discovering...Discovering the potentials u never knew u had before, and developing them so as to make yourself a better person =D. Like i said, I'M DAPHNE with a whole lot of new stuff =)

This is truly a fruitful trip. I've learnt to be ever more patient, Be super responsible (for ur own health n belongings),
Take initiative to whatever u do,
STOP PIDGEON HOLEING n STEREO TYPING! [to those who have been pidgeon holed or stereo typed, pls pls ... do not lose faith in yourself, Be Who u want to be,not what others want you to be.. Do not be blinded by how people think of you and unleash your true potential =)]

I've learnt what is meant by "an effective team"
#1. You must be able to settle Your differences and work together..Everyone is unique on its own as we have different opinion on each thing we do. So.. learnt to take a step back and accept others opinions THEN conclude the better and stronger decision for your group.

#2.An effective team has got to be efficient. However, you know that it should be always quality over quantity rites?? XD

#3.More to come...after being newly appointed GM.....i've got to zoom out the house n attend meetings now .. =) cya later.

its been long.

I Had an operation on the knee on 290807 hahas. i was really scared the day before. but on that day itself, it was pretty okay..(excluding all the shivers caused from the air-con and all the vomiting..)

Wahahas Yesterday... i went to "The King and I" musical. It was quite a blast. although sometimes the singing may get to whinny lols.!

Its a great performance! all the singing was......POWERFUL lols. did they use mics? cus if they din, they are...super!

anyways, after the musical, some teachers says that there is 2-way transport... its like.. what?!?! U SAID THERE WASNT.lols...

July 2nd.--> Youth Day... If im not wrong.., i stayed at home to finish up some homework which is left undone during the holidays....***what a youth day -.-'***

July 4th--> Chemistry Test... horrible??? i guess so. . .

July 7th-->EARTH DAY. 070707. hahas. nice 24hr concert. =) WEAR GREEN!

July 10th--> Thermometer checking. LOL.! i forgot to bring mine... SO I LEND 1 FROM THE OTHER CLASS ! @.@ hahas

Well, what can i say? Time passes very fast, doesn't it?

I remember starting this 1 month holiday with a very sad experience. My grandmother passed away..
Don't say you are sorry.. because there is no reason for you all to say that. I should be the one who is apologing ..to my grandmother.. I love her. Forever =/. I treated her not well enough...I remember raising my voice very often at her because of all her nagginess. Come to think of it..i really regretted it. But im glad that she went off peacefully.
Regardless of the reason, i feel that she had lived enough in this harsh world.

It's only fair that she, a great and wonderful mother and grandmother had gone off to enjoy herself in the other world.The world of happiness and peace. I love u forever grandma.. and so will the rest of the family.
